"Amazing selection of SA artists. Highly recommended and a worthwhile detour and stop on any trip along Route62. Thanks for the lovely bottle of wine Pat!"

''I had an excellent experience with Pat and the Robertson Art Gallery, all via online correspondence. We received multiple digital mock-ups for pieces we had identified we liked. The one we purchased was shipped, ready to hang, very securely, in a secure crate built around the painting to protect it. We are both extremely happy with the artwork we bought and the outstanding service we had. I highly recommend them and look forward to the next purchase we will do.''

''Order made online, delivery in France: great service, very pleasant contact and I am delighted with my action. Serious and trusted gallery.''

"Having purchased some art from Robertson Art Gallery before, I decided to support them again to purchase some paintings for export to Europe for a personal project. Dealing with Pat Paulsen again was a pleasure and the delivery of the shipment went without a hitch. Their in-house framing and packaging capability under the supervision of the Pat makes all the difference. I can recommend Robertson Art Gallery for their selection, representing South African artists, as well as their personal service and attention."

"There is an amazing selection of fantastic art. We purchased pottery to take to the UK and the staff were incredibly helpful in building a very secure box to keep the pottery safe for travel."

"We can recommend Robertson Art Gallery as a reliable partner. Having bought paintings on several occasions, also online, we could always count on correct information, safe payment and meticulously packed goods."

"What an incredible gallery. I just loved the selection of art. There is so much to please the tastes of a passionate lover of art. And their jewellery selection is absolutely wonderful too. My senses felt an enlivened lift from my visit. I'll be back."

"Love this gallery. It always has something new and interesting, as well as the works of 2 of my favourites, Makiwa, and Nicole Pletts. Beautiful silver jewellery on sale as well."

"Don't miss this Gallery if you are visiting the area. They stock the most beautiful art and paintings of local and well known artists at reasonable prices. I just loved it all. The gallery stock is so well presented and one can feel the owner's touch in displaying it all. They also offer silver jewellery at good prices."

"A fine selection of art to see. The gallery is looked after and you can see that they really make good use of the space that they have to accommodate all types of art such as paintings, sculptures, pottery and jewelry. Some of the paintings is so realistic it looks as if it is a picture, so definitely stop here to look at some beautiful art."

"I mean, just wow! I was so blown away with the beautiful selection of art! Every painting had a place in this gallery! Kudos to the owners for strategically and wonderfully picking all the art. I also very much enjoyed browsing the selection of jewelry. I probably could’ve spent hours here! I look forward to coming back, and definitely a must see!!"

"Enjoyed the range of art and jewellery in the gallery. Some of the paintings were breathtakingly beautiful"

"What a nice Art Gallery. The owner Pat Paulsen was very helpful. A beautiful selection of art and jewelry on display. Pat arranged to pack a small piece of art work for us that we purchased at a local winery. He did a great job on the packaging at a very reasonable price. This is definitely worth a stop, you will enjoy the art!"

"I have been to many art galleries in South Africa and this one rates up there with the best of them. High quality varied paintings from famous artists and also up and coming ones. Also refreshing to see ceramics in a gallery as well. Nice staff and we bought some coasters we have been looking for for ages. Plus, it is right next to the best wine shop in Robertson!"

"Pat Paulsen is a very well scientific owner in his 'art'field. The gallery is very sophisticated in its art. Friends bought a beautifull painting and it was shipped to Holland with 3 days and very well received. On his businesscard it says: Phil. 4:19 'And my God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus'!"

"We love the selection of art on display and popped in to have a look on our way through Robertson. We were not planning to buy anything but walked out with 2 paintings!"

"I had a wonderful visit to the Robertson Art Gallery. What diverse styles , such talent, something for all tastes, lots of fun pictures, beautiful modern jewellery. I find looking at beautiful art work very uplifting. Definitely worth a visit."

"9 years ago I walked by, had a look and left with a beautiful painting. It surprised me then to find pieces also from more known artists in Robertson. It is still the same and I love the variety of styles available. We left tempted to buy 2 paintings - so there are beautiful pieces to our liking. The paintings are placed together tightly but we find it easy to imagine them on a larger more empty wall. Friendly service and very helpful in packing travel safe."

"They have a full house of only South African artists catering for all tastes. All pricing from low- to expensive. The owners are friendly and welcoming and are true professionals. Export is possible. Also on sale is a large selection of jewellery in the affordable range. Good stop when on wine tour in the Robertson area!"

"What an unexpected treasure trove this gallery turned out to be - I was surprised yet delighted to find such a representative cross-section of the work of South African artists here, from the well known to relatively new talent. They also have some work of Mia Brand, whose distinctive, earthy style is instantly recognisable. The lovely silver jewellery looked to alluring, but alas, time constraints meant that I couldn't linger and admire."

"Pat and Elaine Paulsen manages an exceptional art gallery and their choices of artists and artworks are unique in South Africa. I have visited this gallery several times over the years and it is always a pleasure. The art and silver jewelry on offer is of high quality and I highly recommend a visit to Robertson Art Gallery. The gallery includes a framing section and it is also done very professionally. You will get good advice on the best style of frame for your artwork etc. They ship internationally."

"Some amazing pieces of art. The gallery has a lot of well known artists' work available. Even if you don't plan on purchasing it is worth just having a look at what they have to offer."

"Impressive service"! We spent a lovely weekend in Robertson and McGregor, but being a long weekend, the gallery was closed on the Sunday, we called the 'after-hours' contact number and a very helpful salesman came out especially to open for us. Beautiful art and worth a visit."

"Great selection of paintings and super friendly staff. The wine shop Laverne (owned also by the Paulsens) next door also well worth a visit."

"Wanted to have a look at the art - which is of a wide variety and to my untrained eye looked very reasonably priced- but eventually left with silver jewellery in the end. (There is a wide variety on display and the prices are very good). Staff also leaves you to browse at your leasure. Definitely worth the stop. There is something for everyone inside - even if you just want to go in and appreciate the displayed art."
