I enjoy the freedom to challenge new methods of applying paint. With my realism, I prefer a natural, soft pallet and with my admiration for the impressionistic French influences, I draw the viewer into a more colourful pallet knifed interpretation. There is a privacy of emotion in my subjects, which leaves the viewer with a memory of nostalgia. Each painting has its own story and emotion woven within the technique and there is a true challenge in trying to unravel your memory experienced by each portrayal. My work has found its way into private collections, both local and abroad.
