Elzette at 3 years of age, her dealings with chickens started early in life. You'll note they are almost a second signature in each of her paintings. Her passion for coffee shops is evident in her many cheerful works of art, (reviewed in many magazines and TV programs). She won two awards for creative work; paints in mixed mediums also sculptures in wood and clay. The atmosphere in coffee shops is an endless source of inspiration for her.
She was born 5 July 1966 in the Strand, Western Cape. She matriculated at the Strand High School. She took an 18-month coarse in ceramics at a college. She started painting in 1990 and went full time in 1998. Her art teacher at Lochnerhof Primary School was here great inspiration.
Elzette is married to Johan and has 3 children, Johan, Stephanie, Jozette and grandson Juan. Prof Hans du Plessis describes her work as a creative recreation of reality.

How to measure
Wrap a string or thin strip op paper around the thickest part of the finger you want to war the ring on. Mark where the paper or string meets and measure the distance in millimetres – this is your circumference. Divide the measurement by 3.14 for your universal ring size.
