During this time, he sent his artwork to a college in Westport, Connecticut, USA, nurturing his skills over three years. The pivotal moment in his artistic career came when he met Suzette, whose inspiration led him to transition from part-time to full-time painting. Furthering his artistic education, Duggie pursued studies through the College for Famous Artist in Westpark.
Duggie's artistic style is best described as classical impressionistic, with a preference for the timeless medium of oil. His creative palette spans a range of intriguing subjects, including vegetables, fruits, antique bottles, music, portraiture, and figure studies.
