Danie Marais was born in Pretoria, South Africa in 1978 and grew up mostly in Namibia.  He studied art at he Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein and now resides in the West Coast near Cape Town.

Danie is a full-time artist and his work is on display at several galleries throughout South Africa and Namibia.

He has had several group as well as solo exhibitions.

Danie says:  "Should something of interest already be sold,  I most probably will be able to create something similar to that since most paintings are my own creation anyway.  Unfortunately, I will not settle for a copy of previous work, but am able to reproduce something with very much the same effect."

How to measure
